About the Journal

    Asian Arts Journal is an academic journal focused on disseminating works related to the arts. It emphasizes various fields such as journalism and communication, film and theater, design arts, dance, performing arts, and music. This journal highlights topics related to the changes of factors that impact the quality of life and society, aiming to create new knowledge and develop high-quality academic research for the benefit of society. Additionally, it recognizes the importance of expanding the academic role in society at large and the development of universities as sources of knowledge derived from the research of faculty, researchers and students, in order to advance towards a knowledge-based society.

Purpose

    Asian Arts Journal of Krirk University was first published in 2025. The editorial team has the following objectives:

  1. To disseminate knowledge and new innovations in the fields of study taught at the university.
  2. To promote faculty members and instructors in various disciplines, as well as experts, in presenting academic works.
  3. To be used as supplementary material for higher education, with editors consisting of faculty members from diverse disciplines within the university.

Ethics

  1. Article Formatting: Authors must adhere to the formatting guidelines set by the journal for article submission.
  2. Duplicate Publication: Submissions must be original works that have not been previously published or disseminated elsewhere, nor under consideration for publication by any other institution.
  3. Source and Accuracy of Information: Authors must ensure that the information in the article is based on accurate studies and facts, free from false or misleading data.
  4. Morality and Ethics:
        ● Authors must uphold ethical standards in research and writing, ensuring that the submitted content does not infringe on or plagiarize the work of others. Proper citation must be provided for any referenced works.
        ● Authors must also have no conflict of interest with the reviewers or the journal’s managing entity (the journal will keep the identities of authors and reviewers confidential).
  5. Rights and Benefits: Authors must disclose any sources of funding for their academic and research work (if any), as well as any potential conflicts of interest.
  6. Contributors to the Article: All listed authors must have contributed to the article’s preparation or the research process. In the case of multiple authors, all must agree on the submission of the article to the journal and must be clearly identified as co-authors. All contributors must have made significant contributions to the work.
  7. Article Revisions: Authors must revise the article based on the evaluation results and suggestions from the reviewers within the given timeframe.
  8. Accuracy of the Article: Authors must thoroughly check the content, format, and references for accuracy. Only essential and relevant references should be included, without over-citation. If the article includes referenced works, images, or tables, the sources must be clearly cited to avoid plagiarism, and authors should not reference withdrawn documents.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Editor/Editorial Board

  1. Monitoring Operations
        ● Strictly follow the procedures and processes of the journal.
        ● Continuously improve and develop the journal to enhance its quality and maintain its standards.
  2. Quality Review
        ● Ensure the journal is completed within the set timeline for publication.
        ● Align the journal with its objectives and content.
        ● Select high-quality articles for publication in Asian Arts Quarterly.
        ● Articles selected for publication must undergo a comprehensive evaluation by experts.
        ● The editorial board will accept the publication once the article has been revised according to the suggestions of experts and checked to comply with the journal’s formatting guidelines.
        ● The journal will not publish articles that serve the personal interests of the author or the journal without considering the evaluation results from the reviewers.
  3. Plagiarism Check
        ● Check whether the author’s work has been plagiarized from other sources. If the article is found to be plagiarized or exceeds the content limits set by the journal, it will not be accepted for publication.
        ● If an article has been previously published elsewhere, the editorial board will contact the author immediately and will not accept the article for publication.
        ● Consider accepting or rejecting articles that have been reviewed by experts.
  4. Ethics
        ● There should be no conflict of interest or relationships that affect the author and/or reviewers.
        ● The identities of authors or reviewers must not be disclosed to external parties during the evaluation process.
        ● Editors must not use information from the articles as their own work and should not request references to their own works.
        ● Clearly communicate and announce the terms, such as the guidelines and publication fees, to authors and others interested in submitting articles for publication.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Article Reviewer

  1. Confidentiality:
    Reviewers must maintain confidentiality by not disclosing any information or content of the article to external parties during the review process or before the article is published.
  2. Expertise in the Field:
    Reviewers should evaluate the article within their area of expertise, ensuring they have a deep understanding and knowledge of the content being reviewed.
  3. Impartiality:
    Reviewers must assess the quality of the article impartially, free from bias or personal opinions. They should have no conflicts of interest related to the author and should not know the author personally.
  4. Other Roles and Responsibilities:
        ● If the reviewer finds any parts of the article that are plagiarized or resemble the work of others, they must inform the editor and may suggest relevant research that the author has not cited, advising its inclusion in the evaluation process.
        ● Reviewers must submit their evaluation results within the specified timeframe as outlined by the journal.
